At Sonar Labs, we leveraged an employee-generated content strategy, built around a simple bet: our team's individual voices would build more trust and authority in crypto infrastructure and security than corporate messaging ever could.
I grew my personal following on Twitter/X to roughly 3,000 by publishing a mix of news breakdowns, trend and meme-driven content, and technical explainers, with posts averaging 30,000 organic impressions.
Beyond audience growth, we used our personal platforms to strategically support business goals. When we launched a major product update in spring of 2023, I leaned on the trust and reach we'd built through EGC to drive adoption, contributing to a 240% increase in daily active users of our product.
This work reinforced something I carried into everything that followed: that authentic, personality-driven content consistently outperforms polished corporate messaging, especially in technical or trust-sensitive industries.
